The masters thesis in Landscape Urbanism is situated in East London where the 2012 Olympics will take place, in an area of industrial waste, obsolete infrastructures, and generations of unemployed.
The project proposes to stitch the margins of Lea River through an urban-environmental topography as a sensible system over the site. The urban project was generated through housing prototypes that adapt horizontally to degrees of contamination in the soil and vertically to economic potentials.
The combined matrix of 1´000 variations generates different prototypes without aesthetic prejudice, and promotes different social organizations. The urban topography generated by the self-organization of prototypes is tested in a sector of the site through vectors in a process of systematic adaptation reacting to the nearness of environmental qualities, movement patterns, and transport infrastructures.
The urban pattern of occupation is the tissue that articulates systematically and sensibly the urban matrix, generated by the existing constructions, Lea River, the Thames, subway stations and railroad lines.

La tesis de maestría en andscape urbanism está situada en el este de Londres en el área de los futuros juegos olímpicos de 2012, en una zona de desechos industriales, infraestructuras obsoletas, y generaciones de desempleados.
El proyecto propone suturar las márgenes del río Lea por medio de una topografía urbano-ambiental, como sistema sensible al sitio. El proyecto urbano se generó por medio de prototipos de vivienda que se adaptan horizontalmente a diferentes grados de contaminación del suelo, y verticalmente a los potenciales económicos.
La matriz combinada de 1´000 variaciones genera diferentes prototipos sin prejuicios estéticos, propiciando diferentes formas de organización social. La topografía urbana, generada por la auto-agrupación de prototipos se organiza dentro de un sector del sitio por medio de vectores, que en un proceso de adaptación sistemática responden a la cercanía de cualidades ambientales, patrones de movimiento e infraestructuras de transporte.
El patrón urbano de ocupación es el tejido que articula sistemática y sensiblemente la matriz urbana generada por las construcciones existentes, el rió Lea, el Támesis, las estaciones de metro, y ferrocarril.
